Dear Robyn,

Sorry I haven’t written straight away, I just wanted to have the time to write something that will do you justice. I’ve waited a couple of days and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to, so I may as well just write something!

When I started planning our wedding, I didn’t think much of the ceremony. I thought it was just the boring, official part, and was hoping to have it squeezed in somewhere and over in 5 minutes. Then, along you came. You started talking to us, getting to know us, and drafting the ceremony and all of a sudden that was the part I was most looking forward to! I realised we had much more to share with our friends and family than 5 minutes worth. We read through the first draft of the ceremony you sent and laughed and cried all the way through. We did the same with the second draft, and then we watched our friends do the same on the day.

We thank you for understanding the two of us so well, and for making our wedding about us.

All the guests raved about you, but the best compliment I can pass on is that a number of people thought you were our friend whom we’d known for a long time. That just goes to show how personal and intimate the ceremony you provided for us was. Of course, we’ve certainly found a friend in you now.

Dear Robyn,

Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing ceremony yesterday.

As soon as you arrived – you just completely owned it and made magic happen for us (including managing to wrangle a group of very wild groomsmen). It was a fun, hilarious and touching ceremony. Everything we could have hoped for and more!!

The rest of the night was also a dream come true! We were even treated to a surprise serenade by none other than Troy Cassar-Daley himself! (I still can’t believe it!!)

Thanks so much for everything on Sunday! Apologies for not saying bye to you properly! I was a little lost as emotions just took over when I walked down the aisle.

I was so nervous and forgot most of what I had to do (like hugging dad) and say at the ceremony. But you made everything simple and flow! The guests loved your Cantonese introduction! :D We loved your execution of the ceremony and the booklet! The day was like it was on fast forward and thank god I listened to your advice about getting video! **phew!**

I will not hesitate to recommend you to all my single girlfriends – when it’s their turn in getting married!

Hi Robyn,

We were beyond happy with everything – our ceremony with such a highlight! It was so personal and so fun and so US! Endless guests came up to tell us how much they loved you and the ceremony (and the thunder clap!)! They thought the whole thing was perfect, someone said it was like you wrote the story of Emma and Owen and read it aloud for everyone to hear. We have so many great shots of the guests laughing their heads off too, which was exactly what we wanted.

Thank you so much for doing that for us – really we can’t thank you enough.

And Owen has said many times since that you were the perfect person for our wedding, and anyone who can make Owen actually say something nice about a wedding has to be pretty special. And thank you for being such a professional and taking charge of what was a fairly disorganised wedding venue when you arrived! I may have been upstairs hiding away but I have been told you were AMAZING sorting everything out. I’m so sorry we were such a mess and thank you for dealing with us and getting the show on the road.

I’m lost for words as to how well the whole wedding went. You set the tone and the standard of it all. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, better than perfect, it could not have gone any better.
